Last Friday we took a short break from preparing for production of the LIVI MINI to spend some time on skunk projects during Fun Friday.

For e-bikes, motorcycles and scooters, falling over is the biggest cause of injury, especially among elderly. In our neighboring country Denmark  biking is much more widespread than in Sweden and they have solved many of the the practicality issues with the classic Christiania-Bike (http://www.christianiabikes.com/) and in Sweden the mototorbike “Flakmoped” (http://www.google.com/images?q=flakmoped) has been in use for almost a hundred years without large updated to the design.

This concept is widely known as a cargo-bikes, and with a few exceptions, that name matches well with the design of these vehicles.

We think that market needs a safe and stylish 3-wheel vehicle. We have designed versions both as a tricycle, a pedelec e-bike and a class 1 electric motorbike.

First out the tricycle version of GOBIKE3:

– Possibility to ad kids-seats, weatherproofing to flatbed

LIVI HandleBar on Tour

The LIVI HandleBar is currently on tour in Asia, being shown to Motorcyclemakers, Technology Partners and Investors.

Last week it was shown to three OEMs in Taiwan and next week it will be shown to one Taiwanese and two Indian OEMs.

The response has been great and we are looking forward to take the concept to the next level together with existing and new partners.

Using the drivers smartphone as the main source for connectivity, processing and display of course means an unbeatable system cost, something that is critical on a price sensitive market.

Demo Assembly

Today our 3D printed HandleBar parts arrived at the office.

We are now scrambling to assemble everything on the scooter to be able to do some full fidelity testing of active safety features in the next weeks.
